For the sake of security in civil aviation on the territory of an airport are separated, so called security zones. Access to them is limited and is attested by the existence of a valid airport pass. Right of access to these areas have persons who have undergone reliability check and have technical necessity to attend to them. On the territory of Varna airport, there are the following areas: - Restricted area. This is an area in which is not allowed direct, uncontrolled access. Color and marking on permits is in green. Restricted area may include the following zones: - Zone "Fuel farm" - on a pass - purple color. - Zone “Catering” - on a pass - white color. - Zone "Cargo" - on a pass - blue color. - critical part of the restricted zone. Access to critical parts of security restricted zones shall also be controlled. On a pass is indicated in red. Critical parts of security restricted zone shall be considered any part of the airport to which have access departing passengers, after security check, including their hand luggage and hold baggage after passing the security check. - Public domain zone. This is an area in which are located all buildings and sites to which access is not required to be controlled. On the pass is indicated in yellow. Code indicators on a pass   1, 2 - Varna airport entrances, leading to the restricted zone and its critical parts. Entrance 1 is for vehicles and pedestrians, and Entrance 2 is only for pedestrians.   P - apron - his presence on the pass means that the employee has access to the apron and / or to the parking stand for the aircraft. C - salons – the designation "C" on a pass means that the employee is entitled to access to lounges for departing and / or arriving passengers.   B - board - The designation "B" means that the employee is entitled to access to board the aircraft.   SECURITY (red background) - employees of the Security Service of the airport operator. They have full access to restricted areas and their critical parts.   SECURITY (white background) – security employees of the aviation provider.   BORDER POLICE (green background) - Officials of the Border Police. They have full access to restricted zones and their critical parts.   CUSTOMS (yellow background) - employees of the DA Customs. They have full access to restricted zones and their critical parts.   POLICE (blue background) – employees of the DO "Gendarmerie". They have full access to restricted zones and their critical parts.   CAA INSPECTOR (on black background) - Inspectors from the DG CAA. They have full access to restricted zones and their critical parts.
