Protections of climate and energy production are to correlated aspects, since burning fossil fuels leads to producing greenhouse gasses. Now it is more important than ever to use energy effectively, bearing in mind the increase in the fuel prices.In this respect, “Fraport Twin Star Airport Management” AD invests in the reduction of electricity consumption through purchasing state-of-the-art energy-saving equipment, saving on lighting and heating energy. At Varna airport it was carried out a reconstruction of the existing heating plant and a central gasification of two boiler was introduced into service.It resulted in reduction of emissions emitted into the atmospheric layer and to savings of funds.
